Registration for the tour constitutes your acceptance of the JBSS Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are given in good faith to provide the best study-tour and pilgrimage possible.

RATES INCLUDE: Round-trip flights from Boise (BOI) to Thessaloniki (SKG) and Rome (FCO) to Boise (BOI) as well as internal flights from Izmir to Rome and Athens to Izmir; accommodation at select hotels; air-conditioned tour bus; dynamic, knowledgeable, and friendly tour guides; entry fees to all sites (as listed on the itinerary); all hotel tips; breakfasts and dinners daily; airport pick-up and drop-off.

RATES DO NOT INCLUDE: Lunches, beverages; extra hotel services (phone calls, room service, laundry, etc.); single hotel room supplement ($1300); passports; medical and travel insurance; expected tip/“Love Offering” for guide (~ $6 per person per day) and driver (~ $4 per person per day); anything else not specifically listed as included.

PAYMENT: All payments should be made to Rockharbor Church via Chris Easley, who will collect payments on behalf of JBSS. An initial $500 deposit is due by February 10, 2026. $200 of the $500 deposit is non-refundable, see below. The earlier the deposit, the more likely one’s place will be able to be reserved and confirmed. Registration ends June 1, 2026 (registrations after this date, if space on the tour is available, may incur additional fees for individual ticketing and service fees – JBSS will advise). Any remaining payment must be received on or prior to June 15, 2026.

Any bookings without full payment at this time may be subject to cancellation. After June 15, 2026 a late payment fee of $200 will be assessed. All prices are quoted in US Dollars. A price increase may be applied if the US Dollar to Shequel exchange rate fluctuates by 5% or more as of January 1, 2026 or for government tax and fee increases, or for unforeseeable circumstances. You will be notified immediately upon discovery of an increase and will have the option of paying the difference or canceling with full refund minus the $200 non-refundable deposit and any fees beyond the control of JBSS depending on the date of the cancellation.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is based on double occupancy. Single rooms, when available, are often smaller than double rooms. While JBSS will try to match roommates, we cannot guarantee that one will be available (although we will work hard to provide a solution). If a roommate is not available or you request a single room, an additional fee of $1300 will apply. As an alternative to the single room, triple rooms are available. However, they may feel more crowded and the third bed will occasionally be a fold-out bed. There is a $100 discount per triple room.

FLIGHTS, ROUTES AND TICKETING: Flight times are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. JBSS is not responsible for such changes or delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting from such delays. To keep prices low, JBSS does not guarantee the most direct routing to your destination. Flights will be economy class, non-amendable, non-refundable, for groups of 10 or more on the same itinerary. Once ticketed, flights cannot be changed or refunded.

ADDITIONAL AIRLINE FEES: You may incur additional airline fees at check in or on board for excess baggage, food, personal items, etc. We highly recommend bringing only one suitcase to check-in and one carry-on bag for easy access to your luggage while on tour.

ITINERARY CHANGES: The course study-tour itinerary is given in good faith, but it is subject to change to adapt to climate conditions, time limitations, or other circumstances at the discretion of the instructor. If flight itinerary changes necessitate extra overnights, the fee is $200 per person per night, and single rooms $300 per night including breakfast only, unless arranged independently, and tips and transfers are not included.

CANCELLATION FEES: Cancellations result in costly charges from travel and hotel providers. Therefore, the following fees will apply: Up to 105 days prior to departure, you will be refunded all funds paid except a $200 administrative fee and any airline fees; 105-65 days = you will be charged the $500 deposit plus any airline fees/penalties; 65-31 days = 40% of total cost plus any airline fees/penalties; 30 days to day of departure = 100% of total cost. Also, if your cancellation forces your roommate into a single, you will be charged a single room supplement. Time of cancellation will be when notice is received in our Jerusalem office by email. (Please note that cancellation fees may be covered by your travel insurance plan provided the premium has been paid and the reason for cancellation is insurable.)

HEALTH & SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: All tour participants are required to have (and show proof of) medical travel insurance for this tour. Medical insurance must be obtained and can be arranged independently. Please note: the tour is active and may include a considerable amount of walking on uneven terrain. Travelers must be in good health. Consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. JBSS regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to guests for wheelchairs, motorized scooters, walking, dining or other personal needs. Persons needing such assistance must be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them. We regret that wheelchairs and motorized scooters may face limitations on our tour.

JBSS reserves the right to terminate the tour of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the operation of the tour.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Except where otherwise stated, JBSS acts only as agent for the relevant supplier in securing flights, hotels, ground transportation and other travel services and in no event shall JBSS be liable for failure by any such supplier to render any transportation, lodging or other travel service to be provided on the tour. JBSS assumes no liability for injury, death, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may occur by reason of any negligent or willful act or omission of any suppliers of service. JBSS does not own or operate any of the suppliers of services to your tour. Similarly without limiting the foregoing, passenger agrees to hold JBSS harmless for any defect in any vehicle, plane, boat, bus, car, van or other vehicle, act of war or insurrection, terrorist activity, revolt or other civil uprising, military action, pandemic, strikes or labor unrest or any act of God or for any other act of any third party. Michigan law will be applicable to any dispute which arises out of/or concerns this information or your tour.
Each person is responsible for their own Medical insurance (proof of purchase/coverage required) and travel insurance if you so decide.
